Dr. Harris started Bucyrus Internal Medicine in 1999 with the goal of making each encounter with his patients one that would improve their health and quality of life. Dr. Harris graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Nuclear Technology. From there he began medical school at the Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1992 and completing his residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus in 1995.
He has since developed a successful practice here in Bucyrus, treating each patient with courtesy and integrity, making many friends along the way. He has achieved awards such as the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) CAP Physician of the year 2007/2008, and OSU All-star Preceptor Award as well as special recognition as a designated fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, AOA Mentor, OOA Mentor and ACOI fellowship in 1999. He has also achieved NCQA recognition for Diabetes and Heart/Stroke.
Dr. Harris lives locally with his wife, Beth and children, Kyle and Sydney.
